The MA in CCM has a special series for all those who want to brush up on their terminology. Media Studies has a lot of jargon, and it takes time and practice to get used to it! To help support you, Andrew Beck and Simon O’Grady offer a term-long series, going through key texts in the discipline and giving advice on how to complete coursework and essays.

The schedule for this year’s Spring term English for Media will take place on Wednesdays 2-4 in ET135.

Even if you think you’re already an aficionado, go along! There’s a tone of early texts in the field provided, which is useful reading for everyone.

Mediatized Affect and Embodiment
